being developed by CW4K, or Creative Writing 4 Kids. They are the company behind a website that enables children to create and publish their own stories online. In its first year it has signed up over 2000 members and has been enthusiastically received by children, parents and teachers. In fact the response has been so encouraging that they are planning a huge expansion of its services. Embedding The Author Hotline into the site is part of that expansion...

seeing surgical operations on television.Aaaagh! I have to turn the TV off.Put a cushion on top of it. Then jump up and down a lot and say Ewwwwwwww!

do you know I don't actually have ANY really treasured possessions. Maybe you should send me a few.

I don't think you can beat chocolate...

I'd like to meet myself as a child

I never really decided to be a writer. I just wrote.

Anywhere. Actually I quite like writing in bed.

If you really want to do something and you really work at it, you can do it. Just read a lot, dream a lot and ... WRITE
