The Author Hotline
is
being developed by CW4K, or Creative Writing 4 Kids. They are the company behind a website that enables children to create and publish their own stories online. In its first year it has signed up over 2000 members and has been enthusiastically received by children, parents and teachers. In fact the response has been so encouraging that they are planning a huge expansion of its services. Embedding The Author Hotline into the site is part of that expansion...

Q: What were you like at school?
Very good :) When I was 5 years old I would bring my teacher a new story every morning. They were only a few lines long and often had tragic endings.. but they had nice pictures!
Q: What did you want to be when you were a child?
I can't remember wanting to be anything in particular but I always liked painting and making things.
Q: Do you feel younger or older than your current age?
Much younger!
Q: What do you do as a hobby?
Snowboard, play my guitar, read, cook..
Q: What’s your favourite food?
I love food!! Indian food, Thai food, Mediterranean food, roast dinners, good home cooked food and chocolate things.
Q: What do you day dream about?
Sitting under a tree on a warm beach painting, reading and going for the occasional swim. And when I'm actually doing that, I day dream about snowboarding. Also, I day dream about food a lot and what I'm going to cook for my next meal.

To enjoy it!
Q: What quality do you most admire in a person?
Kindness.

Since 1999

Marvin and Molly, both of them.

Where the wild things are.

Anywhere quiet.
Q: Where do you get your greatest ideas from?
Watching people and their behavior.
