The Author Hotline

is being developed by CW4K, or Creative Writing 4 Kids. They are the company behind a website that enables children to create and publish their own stories online. Q: What were you like at school?

snap

I was a bit od a dreamer at school. Some subjects I found a bit boring and I would day dream. But I think school is much more exciting for children now.

Q: What did you want to be when you were a child?

snap

Spiderman! I loved superhero comic books and when I was very young wished I was Spiderman (still do). I used to copy the drawings from my comics which got me started in drawing. Then I realised I wanted to be an illustrator.

Q: Which three words describe you best?

snap

Mmmmmmmm. "Honest" "Ambitious" and a "Dreamer" I guess.

Q: What is your favourite word?

snap

Chocolate. (yum)

Q: What do you do as a hobby?

snap

I don't have a lot of time for hobbies unfortunately. When I'm not drawing I like to spend time with my family.

Q: What’s your favourite food?

snap

Chocolate. (yum)

Q: What’s the most outrageous thing you’ve done?

snap

I'm not very outrageous, I sometimes wish I were. Can't think of anything at the moment.

Q: Do you feel younger or older than your current age?

snap

I feel younger.

Q: If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

snap

I had 2 heroes growing up. Bruce Lee (kung fu star) and my Dad. My Dad was very strong and could do gymnastics. He could walk on his hands, do back flips and one handed press ups.

Q: What quality do you most admire in a person?

snap

Honesty.

Q: What is the most interesting place you have ever visited?

snap

I like Edinburgh and York. Both cities are very similar, with lots of history and a sort of magical atmosphere.

Q: What is the best advice anyone has ever given you?

snap

Have fun in your life.
