The Author Hotline

is being developed by CW4K, or Creative Writing 4 Kids. They are the company behind a website that enables children to create and publish their own stories online. In its first year it has signed up over 2000 members and has been enthusiastically received by children, parents and teachers. In fact the response has been so encouraging that they are planning a huge expansion of its services. Embedding The Author Hotline into the site is part of that expansion...

Today in the car bringing my boys home from school.

Q: What is your most treasured possession?

I love sailing on the sea and I love the adventures we've had on our boat, sailing along the coast and across to France. I love mountain biking across the hills where I live. Integrity and kindness.

The Himalayas.

I wish my hair didn't go curly in sea air!

My favourite books by far were the Narnia series by C.S.Lewis, but I also loved the Moomin books, Mary Poppins, 101 Dalmatians by Dodie Smith and Paddington Bear!
